Fractional to 1000 HP

Motor Repair and Rewinds

AC and DC motors, coils, armatures and generators, rewound and rebuilt in our Oklahoma City shop to come back equal to or better than the original equipment.

A rewind starts with a teardown, not a guess.

We routinely rewind AC, DC and other types of motors, coils, armatures and generators, from fractional horsepower up to 1000 HP, primarily NEMA frame. A motor comes off the pallet and the stator gets opened before anyone quotes the job, because the windings tell us more than the nameplate does. Where mechanical work is needed alongside the rewind, we handle the modifications and repairs in the same visit rather than sending the motor out again.

What we stock behind the rewind

We are stocking distributors for the products we promote, so new motors sit crated on our own racks rather than on a purchase order. Behind that, we have access to motor manufacturers' warehouses located across the nation, with inventory available to us and to our customers 24/7. On the mechanical side we machine complete new shafts from like alloys, handle removal and replacement of most equipment, run laser alignment, and check dynamic balancing and vibration before a rebuild goes back into service.

Where your motor sits on the scale.

  1. Fractional

    Bench rewind

Small AC motors, coils and armatures come off the truck and go straight to the bench. Most of these turn around in days, not weeks.

  2. NEMA frame

    Stock swap or rebuild

As stocking distributors we often have the replacement crated and on the rack already, with our manufacturers' national warehouses behind us if we do not.

  3. 1000 HP

    Crane-lift teardown

The largest stators come off the trailer onto the five ton crane, get opened on the floor, and go back together with new shafts machined from like alloys when that is what the job needs.

Whichever end of that scale your motor sits on, the same shop and the same number answer for it. Reach us at (405) 235-9638.
